WARPED Gets FnX in Philly this Weekend

There's been a new match added to the upcoming show this Sunday in Philly! Crowbar has challenged The Midnighter to go at it once again and this time he wants it to be a Straightjacket Match! The epic 10th show for WARPED in Philly is shaping up to definitely be a hardcore event as the first ever FnX Match will take place, the Straightjacket Match, plus the Cage Match Main Event for the World Championship. Don't forget to get your tickets if you haven't yet as only a few remain!

WARPED #10 in Philly!

WARPED will hold its 10th show live on August 1st in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on a huge night of action! There will be TWO championship bouts as T.G. Grundy defends the Evolution Title against PKA and SwitchBlade defends the World Title in a STEEL CAGE by his request against The Rough Ryder. Both of these men put their titles on the line for the first time in Philly! Also, another fast-paced Four Corner Survival match will take place as four of WARPED Wrestling's hot young talents face off. And the debut of what is known as 'FnX'.. Full of H8-RED..WARPED 8 Results!

WARPED rolled into Dayton, Ohio for the second time for the 8th event in what looked to be a mellow, calm booked show, but turned out to be out of control and full of surprises. The show kicked off with a melee of talent arguing which led to an impromptu match between two of the WARPED Originals and men that have been at each others throats since day one...and it didn't turn out well. Also on the show, Dr. EMO would face Terry Richards...and there was a special surprise debut during this bout. Later that night, The Midnighter would face Crowbar in a rematch from WARPED 7 to avenge his loss, and in the main event, Malik Logan would face The Rough Ryder to find out the #1 contender to the WARPED World Title that SwitchBlade holds. All that and more went down, and the only way to find out what happened is by checking out the results and watching the DVD now!

WARPED Joins the CWC Interfed Family

WARPED is proud to announce that we have joined the ranks of the Championship Wrestling Council (CWC), an exciting Interfed consisting of 12 other wrestling organizations. This will not only help WARPED get more exposure to the wrestling community, but also be an exciting addition in that the WARPED roster has a chance to get involved with Interfed Events, Contests, Championship Matches, etc, as well as be challenged by other CWC Interfed members.

About CWC: "We stand together as a gathering of federations that declares to the world that we strive to be better. Not to be better than others, but to better ourselves." Fans Annoyed by WARPEDLive! 5

WARPED Wrestling would like to apologize to its fans for the poor quality of the most recent event, namely "WARPEDLive! 5" from Fairfax, VA. To the live audience - you were promised an Ultraviolent Invitational Match with PKA vs. Dylan Daniels, however, due to the circumstances that unfolded, that match did not take place. You will be given a 10% refund of your ticket and a 10% discount on the next time you purchase a ticket for the same venue. To those who wanted to watch the event on the DVD Release - its no secret that our budget is dangerously low. Going back to the first event with the commentary and ring mics cutting out, WARPED is fighting to upgrade its facilities. This time, it got worse, as there was massive camera footage failure. Because of this, the DVD Release will be majorly discounted. We thank you all for understanding and continuing to support WARPED.

LETTER RECIEVED! Dylan Daniels Accepts PKA's Open Challenge

A letter was recieved in the e-mail inbox of President Joey Matthew regarding the Ultraviolent open-challenge laid out by PKA. Its from one Dylan Daniels, a former employee of Matthew from the Headstrong Wrestling days. Here's the letter in its entirety:

Mr. Matthew,

Dylan Daniels here, you know the guy that's put his body on the line for you in the past. Well, word going around the indy scene is that a certain Patrick Kay Anthony has issued an Ultra-Violent Open Challenge. I'm not to far from George Mason University, and you know just as well as anybody I have a bit of flare for the ol Ultra Violence. So tell that little guy liner wearing emo boy Patrick Kay Anthony his challenge has been accepted.

Press Release: WARPED Talent Arrested; more..

April 25, 2010 (Wichita, KS) WARPED Wrestling talent, Crowbar, was arrested last Sunday due to excessive violence towards a disc jockey in Ohio.

The arrest was made Sunday, April 18 during the taping for WARPED Wrestling's 4th event "Five For Fighting" after a warrant was put out for the arrest of one Crowbar, real name Mark Austin. The arrest was made following an attack made by Crowbar to a radio station disc jockey who goes by the on-air name of "Jo Jo" on Channel 945, owned by Clear Channel, in Ohio. Crowbar, on April 13, was scheduled to do an interview to hype the upcoming show in Dayton. During the interview, he was especially enraged and "out of control" says the DJ. Crowbar went on to trash the studio and harm the DJ.

Clear Channel management informed the authorities, and days later, Crowbar was found and arrested. He was held at the Columbus Correctional Facility until Tuesday when all charges were dropped by Clear Channel. Sources say that WARPED Wrestling management persuaded the radio conglomerate to drop the charges in exchange for all of the damages being paid. In addition, Crowbar will now be forced on probation for six months in the state of Ohio and will be on further probation within WARPED Wrestling. Crowbar has been signed up and must complete Anger Management classes, starting immediately.

Crowbar was unavailable for comment, as was WARPED President, Joey Matthew, but sources say that Crowbar WILL be in action on the upcoming show May 1 in Fairfax, Virginia. WARPED Wrestling's website has more info on the upcoming event.

Destination: Dayton on April 18th

Next stop = Dayton, Ohio on April 18th for WARPEDLive! #4 "Five For Fighting" where five men have an opportunity at getting their shot at becoming the first ever WARPED World Champion.

The first ever Top 5 was announced and Malik Logan, SwitchBlade, Dan Dillinger, Theo Davis and Mr. Rottentreats, the #1 spot holder, will all compete in singles qualifying matches. Its simple - win the match, get the title shot. However, for one Malik Logan, things are a bit different. Following the confrontation with The Rough Ryder, a newcomer to WARPED who made his debut last Sunday in Dearborn, Michigan, his match has a unique stipulation. Per his request, Logan will get a night with Ryder's girlfriend, Jessica Reyes, if he wins. If he loses, Logan must hand over his title shot to Ryder.

Major Announcement Concerning the WARPED World Championship & Top 5

WARPED Wrestling will hold its third event this Sunday night from Dearborn, Michigan at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center with the main event featuring Dr. EMO accepting SwitchBlade's open invitation for a 2/3 Falls match. At this show, a special award will also be presented: The Emlployee of the Month.

Each month, WARPED will release a Top 5 for the previous working month. The Monthly Top 5 will be based upon wins/losses, in-ring performance and promos. The person who gains the #1 spot, otherwise known as 'Emlployee of the Month' will gain a special plaque listing their accomplishment and will be able to show that off until the next month's spot is given out. This plaque will also act as a reward of sorts. More will be released about that in due time.

However, with the first ever Top 5 being released, something very special is in store for these gentlemen. Mr. Rottentreats(1), Theo Davis(2), Dan Dillinger(3), SwitchBlade(4) and Malik Logan(5) are now guarenteed the FIRST shot at the WARPED World Championship on just one condition: win a qualifying match. Each man will be placed in a Singles Match on the April 18th program, currently titled "Five For Fighting" , and if they come out with a victory, they will be placed into the World Championship match for the following show on May 1st.

How will the five men react to their placement in the Top 5? They will surely be voicing their opinions come WARPEDLive! #3 - "Making The Cut" this Sunday night. Also, what of those who didn't place? SwitchBlade or Dr. EMO - Who will 'Make The Cut' on April 4th?

Last Friday, March 19, WARPED Wrestling presented their second event: WARPEDLive! #2 - "Cloud of Unknowing" live from The Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The show's name was very fitting as many more new talents made their debut on this show, and little was known as to what the talent who had debuted on the previous show would pull out on this show. The crowd was red hot and the turnout was much more than the crowd in Chicago Ridge, IL for "The Audition" two weeks prior. The Philly crowd was definitely into the WARPED action and WARPED will return to Philly at the end of May!

Next stop: Dearborn, Michigan, for WARPEDLive! #3 - "Making The Cut".

Last week, WARPED saw the debut of SwitchBlade, a decorated talent from Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to winning his match, he offered an open challenge for the next event to anyone and offered the words " If I can’t make you…I’ll break you!". Immediately following the event's conclusion, another newcomer Dr. EMO stepped up to the plate. This is not the first time Dr. EMO has done this. His debut match against Malik 'The Hitman' Logan was originally set to have Logan facing another opponent, but after that opponent pulled out, a replacement was needed, and Dr. EMO immediately put himself into that position and won the match. This time, he faces SwitchBlade in the main event of the cleverly-titled 'Making The Cut' in Dearborn, Michigan in a 2/3 Falls Match via special request from SwitchBlade.

Last week, Mr. Rottentreats scored his second victory thanks to his trusty Bag of Treats and the Faygo he brings along, upsetting Theo Davis, much like he had done at 'The Audition' against Dan Dillinger. Its said that neither Davis or Dillinger are too thrilled about this, but who would be? Mr. Rottentreats is set to face Malik Logan next; will he be the next victim of the Faygo-swilling and swinging Mr. Rottentreats? Before we find out the answer to that, Theo Davis and Dan Dillinger will face off one on one in what should be a technical wrestling clinic as both men are especially skilled in the squared circle. Rumor has it Mr. Rottentreats will be lurking about somewhere near to observe.

The saga continues as PKA and his cousin The Mighty Aguila continue to be questionable friends. At 'The Audition', PKA was blamed for losing the match because of his partying the night before, and at 'Cloud of Unknowing' last week, PKA boasted that it was because of him that The Mighty Aguila was able to pick up the victory in their tag team match against Tin and Vo Li, whom they'd lost to previously. This time around, The Mighty Aguila flies solo against Tin Li. Are the cousins drifting apart or have they talked things over? Will PKA's partying continue to get in the way of things or will the younger of the family, Aguila, shy from confrontation?

Also on the show its the debut of Jason Aries as he takes on the very 'colorful' Lance Platinum. Also, in tag team action, Howard Thompson and Caleb Cross team up for the first time to face the team of Brian Zane and Malcolm Knite, who also team for the first time. Of the four men in that match, Caleb Cross is the only man with a victory. Will he make it two and even it up for Thompson, or will Zane and Knite pick up their first W?

The Skinny on Philly; Hyde Requests Release w/3/14 Update*

On March 13th in Philly, WARPED Wrestling will once again battle to impress and show the world what we're made of, but there's even more of the unknown now. This is the Cloud of Unknown, WARPEDLive!2.

After an embarrassing loss to Tin and Voe Li last week, PKA demanded a rematch for himself and his cousin, The Mighty Aguila, in hope sto redeem himself. PKA's excuse? It happens, but it shouldn't. Aguila's reasoning? Too much partying the previous night for his cousin.

Also, WARPED showcases two of its newest additions to the roster Caleb Cross and Lance Platinum as they enter into a Four Corner Survival Match with Dan Dillinger and Brian Zane. All four men will be legal at the same time and the first pinfall wins it!

In a Three Way Dance match we will see three brand new stars in WARPED: Howard Thompson(formerly Hoju) vs. Malcolm Knite vs. SwitchBlade(formerly of Headstrong Wrestling). To those who have crossed over from HSW, you're aware of what Hoju and SwitchBlade are capable of, and then there's Malcolm Knite, the relative unknown, is said to be very difficult to deal with in a ring.

The previously announced rematch for Hyde/Logan has been taken off the card. Kurtis Hyde has requested his release and has been granted it, thus will not look to seek revenge on Malik Logan in a WARPED ring anytime soon.
*A replacement for Logan's opponent has been found in the result of the newly signed Dr. Emo.

In our main event of the night we will see the technically sound Theo Davis taking on the very unorthodox Mr. Rottentreats. Both men were victorious in their debut matches in Chicago Ridge, and one of their records will be effected negatively this week.

WARPEDLive! 1-"The Audition" Card Booked

It was announced on February 20th that WARPED would host its first event on March 7th in Chicago Ridge, IL after a Public Poll decision ruling the state of Illinois as the location you, the fans, wanted WARPED Wrestling's first event to be held. Now, just two days later, after signing numerous new talent to the roster over the weekend, WARPED is proud to announce a finalized card for the March 7th debut show.

Being named 'The Audition', the first event for WARPED Wrestling will be just that - a showcase of the talent and ability of the roster and the company as a whole in hopes of impressing the masses and showing the wrestling world that we have what it takes to be one of the future top companies. Join us for the journey in the next two weeks as WARPED talent and fans prepare for something special. On March 7th, Chicago Ridge, IL will be the city to witness the birth of WARPED.

"Merchandise" Section Added

A new page has been added to the WARPED website called 'Merchandise' which will be the future home of the Event Results Archives page. Its purpose is to serve as the Archives page but also showcase and archive the results of past events. A template image and page has been created in the meantime until our debut show March 7th.

Speaking of the March 7th debut, there is discussion on the show name on the Community Forums right now. Please contribute as your opinions do matter! The first card is being booked and will be announced very soon.

Chicago Ridge and Philly to Host WARPED

After polling you for the last two weeks on which state should host the first ever WARPED Wrestling live vent, the winner in the Poll was Illinois, beating out Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kansas, and Virginia.

WARPED will travel for its first show to Chicago Ridge, Illinois at the Frontier Park Fieldhouse at a date that is "To Be Announced" very soon. Info on the venue is on our Events page. Also, we are proud to confirm that we will also be holding one of our first events at the world-famous "Arena" in South Philadelphia.

We are very close to announcing our first show. All we need is a few more names on the Talent roster and we'll be in good enough shape to book the first card. Thanks to all who have shown your support along the way.

Jones, PKA Join WARPED

We are in the process of recruiting and hope to have more names to announce very soon. WARPED Wrestling is not your average fed. Its not big time. We don't have a TV or PPV deal. We hardly have pads around the mat or good lighting. WARPED is being built from the bottom and we will work our way to the top, and we would love for you to join us in our journey.

New Indy Fed, WARPED Wrestling, Opens Doors

As of February 5, 2010, WARPED Wrestling has opened its doors in association with HeadstrongProductions, as a new Independent Pro Wrestling Organization under the helm of Joey Matthew.

WARPED is America's Principal Source for Pure Wrestling and will provide the best talent in the world to cities throughout the United States and eventually worldwide. Tentative plans have at least two WARPED shows each month, with the possible addition of a third, along with Supercards every few months. Events will be held in small venues throughout the United States, starting on the East Coast and Midwest region and eventually moving out West. We are working on a DVD distribution deal to be finalized as of now.

Applications are now being accepted. While WARPED pledges to provide the best the world has to offer, this does not mean you have to be a seasoned veteran to join the ranks. Whether you are top shelf talent or a rookie trying to catch a break, we will train you to be the absolute best. A base roster of 10 needs to be established before the first show can be booked, so please apply today and be one of the first to have their name under the WARPED Wrestling banner.

If there's some of you out there who are interested in being booked by WARPED but aren't ready to commit to a contract just yet, that's not a problem at all. We do not expect us to be your sole fed. If you'd like to volunteer to join us for the first show or be apart of a trial period before committing to WARPED, this is also acceptable.
